Technical Administrator

Salary: Negotiable DOE + Pension (7%) + 25 Days Holiday + 8 Bank Holidays + Childcare Vouchers + Free Parking

Location: Site based in Doncaster with possible travel to UK other sites

The Requirements of the Technical Administrator:

Essential:

  • Experience of working within an administrative role
  • The ability to produce reports and communicate findings effectively
  • 5 GCSE’s Grades A*-C including English, or equivalent
  • Competent at analysing data
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Be self-motivated and have a pro-active approach to problem solving
  • To be able to work to tight deadlines
  • A clean driving licence and willingness to travel

Advantageous:

  • Previous experience within a Quality environment
  • Experience of working in a factory / commercial environment would be advantageous, not essential
  • Previous experience working with Quality Systems (including UKAS 17025) and HACCP systems
  • Hold a certificate in Level 3 HACCP (or equivalent) and Internal Auditing Skills
  • Previous experience in implementing and conducting training

The Responsibilities of the Quality Assurance Technician:

  • Managing changes to the Quality Systems (including UKAS 17025) and HACCP systems
  • General Administrative duties including filing of paperwork and electronic filing
  • Working within schedules, incorporating 11 quality systems
  • Responsible for accurate document control systems, including chasing and following up
  • Accurately updating changes to Quality Systems document
  • Following Group Quality audit schedules and ensuring responses are received
  • Minute taking in meetings
  • Typing up handwritten notes and minutes
  • Delivery of training to internal employees on quality standards and hygiene
  • Willingness to engage with training and development in relation to any relevant opportunities identified by the company
