The requirements for the International Retail Manager – Luxury Fragrance:

  • 3+ years experience in the luxury fragrance & perfume markets as a European or International Retail Manager, Education Manager or Training Manager with experience training high performing sales teams in luxury retail stores
  • Ability to travel internationally circa 70% of the time
  • Strong training experience, mindset, and methodology
  • Solid one-to-one and group presentation skills
  • Information research, analysis, and evaluation skills
  • Good planning and organizational skills, effectively and efficiently handle multiple, simultaneous, and complex tasks and projects

The role of International Retail Manager – Luxury Fragrance:

Execution of Education Programs:

  • Facilitate training in the delivery of both in-classroom and in-store trainings, coaching, seminars and workshops for both dedicated and generic staff, which includes basic product training, clienteling, counter manager training, store training, in store selling techniques, new product launches, events and merchandising
  • Schedules local trainings to support brand sales and objectives; communicates and follows-up with head office on staff progression
  • Communicate the merchandising strategy to the retailers/agents, in coordination with the visual merchandising; make sure that the merchandising soft tools are consistent with the local specificities
  • Communicate to the brand the planning, training, and/or the PR needs by region

Develops Talent and Capabilities:

  • Establish and regularly review of staff’s productivity and report back to line manager
  • Identify training and development needs through job analysis, performance appraisal/review and feedback of the Line Managers

Leads and Manages the Team:

  • Motivates and develops retail staffs: serve as role model in image and professionalism.
  • Sets and communicates high workplace operating standards, values and expectations.
  • Provides direction. Clearly communicates priorities and required results.
  • Provides input in setting performance objectives for team 

Build Collaborative Relationships:

  • Work with sales team to meet sales objectives
  • Build and nurture relationships with retailers e.g. store/cosmetics manager while ensuring information is shared

Based in Leeds city Centre (LS1) we work with Beauty, Haircare, Food & Beverage, Jewellery manufacturing and retailing companies recruiting needs across the UK to search for the best available talent for their FMCG businesses.

The Role of a Resourcer is heavily telephone and database driven and will consist of a hybrid of a researching into personal care, jewellery, spa, fashion and beauty companies and resourcing candidates for specific roles. This will include intensive research into the Beauty/FMCG markets we serve, market mapping companies within the industry, generating vacancy leads, headhunting viable candidates for the roles; promoting job opportunities, building and nurturing relationships while continually striving towards set goals and targets.

Typically, you'll be carrying out these types of duties every day:

  • Source and select candidates for beauty vacancies using the internet and telephone
  • Head hunt and proactively approach candidates directly for recruiting requirements over the telephone
  • Network with existing personal care industry contacts/candidates to source candidates for specific jobs to include fragrance, hair care, colour cosmetics, skin, bath/ body care, jewellery and fashion opportunities
  • Identify skills required to match candidates appropriately to live vacancies
  • Find vacancy leads to convert into money making opportunities through social media/competitor awareness and networking activities
  • Profile/interview candidates for specific jobs
  • Book candidates in for interviews with Consultants and Clients
  • Deal with general queries relating to contracts, pay, logistics of interviews etc.
  • Updating & maintaining the database with candidate and client details

Your Personality should be process driven, with strong analytical and research skills alongside excellent communication skills and a confident demeanour.

You will be adept at using the internet and search engines and websites. You will also have a real passion for beauty/fashion/brands and hold previous recruitment/resourcing experience. Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal is a must. A sparkling personality with a real flair for working with people and strong interpersonal skills, plus the right attitude is essential to join our motivated, high energy and positive team.  Degree educated in a Beauty/Fashion related discipline such as Cosmetic Science, Cosmetic Formulation, Chemistry or NVQ Level 3 in Beauty/Hair/Fashion or equivalent would be a distinct advantage. However we recruit individuals with the “extra factor” with 6+ months minimum work experience in a targeted recruitment business.

  • Knowledge and experience with Aesthetic treatments
  • Providing guidance and advice on products
  • Building relationships and rapport with all clients
  • Performing bespoke advanced facial treatments
  • Retailing and product recommendation

Desirable but not essential:

  • Working within a 5* Skin Clinic
  • Multi-modality experience
  • Education Level 4 Beauty Preferred / Level 3 accepted
  • Prolific experience working in similar prominent luxury establishments with VIP clientele and be accustomed to VIP’s and delivering an esteemed service
  • Commercially savvy with a proven track record for selling with demonstrable KPI’s in a retail setting
  • Strong cosmeceutical product knowledge
